Introduced for the 2015 model year, the California T created quite a stir among Ferrari enthusiasts, who saw the turbocharged convertible as a sign that Maranello had already begun to move away from naturally aspirated V-8 engines. But despite upsetting a few fans, the California T soon regained its popularity due to its increased output and reduced fuel consumption. Since then, Ferrari had already launched the 488 GTB, a turbocharged successor to the 458 Italia and the second member of the brand’s new family of sports cars employing forced induction.
The main reason I’m talking about the California T more than a year after its official debut is because the car’s online configurator just became a lot more fun. Ferrari has added an array of new colors and options to this online app, making the drop-top as customizable as any other model in the lineup.
If you’re looking to either book a California T or just have some fun and check out what’s new in the online configurator, this is the best time to give it a go.
