Koenigsegg is proud be part of the Goodwood Festival of Speed once again in 2015.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the annual highlights on the motoring calendar. It’s on the bucket list of enthusiasts around the world and with good reason. Like the Geneva Motor Show, everybody is either at Goodwood or wants to be there. It has an unparalleled reputation for pure motoring passion. It doesn’t matter whether the cars are modern or traditional. What matters is the ethos behind them – pure performance.
The Festival of Speed is held at Goodwood Estate in West Sussex. What started as Lord March’s small tribute to motoring in the early 1990’s has turned into a massive annual event that now has to have ticket sales capped due to excessive demand.
Last year, Koenigsegg debuted the One:1 at Goodwood. This year, the One:1 will be back once again and it will be joined by the all-new Koenigsegg Regera.
The Regera will be on display and we’re sure that fans will appreciate the first UK opportunity to see our first ever expansion model up close and personal.
The One:1 will be driven by Koenigsegg factory driver, Robert Serwanski. Robert’s going to have to take special care this year as the One:1 he will be driving will not be his usual Koenigsegg factory car. The One:1 being used at Goodwood in 2015 has been provided by one of our customers for use at the event, a gesture for which we are most appreciative. Appropriate care will be taken.
Consequently, you may see a little less of this than last year. But just a little.
Representatives from Koenigsegg and our UK partners, Super Vettura, will be on hand at Goodwood. If you’re going to the event, please come and say hello.
We’ll also be covering the event live with nightly updates here on the Koenigsegg website and through the day via our primary social media channels:
See you at Goodwood!
